Sweet workout Val..efficient, easy and quick. The prerequisites most of us need in our lives these days. Think I’m gonna try it now — you can never be too perky! Thanks, yet again…

Val- as always a terrific series. I was so glad to see a visual representation of the Romanian Dead Lift- I wasn’t sure I was doing it right. Thank you, thank you for these great tips! It’s almost like having your in our own homes!

Seems like a gimmick, although it’s nice to see the moves demonstrated. I looked for videos of the Olympic Divers and I don’t think their bodies look that great. Their butts are very flat mostly and fat free blending right into their leg. http://www.usadiver.com/diving_photos_albums/usa_fina_02/pages/a%20lone%20on%20top_JPG.htm

I’d rather have a butt like your client Poppy Montgomery.

    Hi Val,

Just having my fourth child, the weight seemed to go right to my butt.
Thanks for the routine that is quick, simple and easy to remember.
I also like to do the single leg glute bridge using a fitness ball, does this give
    off the same affect?

    HI Mirissa,

Poppy does have a great butt and we definitely use these same moves. When I was watching the diving, the girls I saw had great butts and legs. The butts were full but not as big a sprinter and the legs were nicely defined but not too bulky. As I said in the video, I don’t train any divers but this is what I feel would create the shape I was talking about. I did not see any flat butts but I did not watch everybody.

    Hi AmyL,

Yes, I like to do the on a fitness ball too!! Sometimes it is hard to choose my favorite exercises. Butt is my favorite thing to work, so I have lots of exercises I like.

Hello! Thanks for the video. How do we get the diver’s bikini butt workout journal? I have already subscribed and when I re-enter my information for the new download it says that I am already a subscriber.
You are the greatest! I cannot wait for your club doors to open.

I tried this workout yesterday and my glutes are definitely feeling it today. Awesome.

    Val,
Can’t wait to incorporate this! I’m about to order your slides/bands- I want all the tools to make RCR work for me! Seems like I just saw an email that the covers are available- if I’m using the slides on carpet, do i need the covers?

And if I get a bench- should I get an incline/decline/flat one?

Can’t wait for the RCR Club to open- will there be a forum? My biggest challenge (well, one of them) is keeping up with the great info here!

    Thanks Val,
These are great exercises. Anyhow, I agree with Mirissa! lol, I want a butt just like your client Poppy.
BTW, are these exercises more for toning or adding muscle? I ask because I want to ADD more muscle in my butt (not legs) to create more of an hourglass shape. My greatest problem is that my waist will never get as tiny as I’d like, and I dont know why… Anyhow, I remember someone telling me that the alternative solution is to build more muscles in your butt and back muscles to achieve that look.

FYI, I think it’d be a great idea for you to come up with an article/video based on this. Just so you know, I’m pretty athletic and already have muscular legs, and have been focusing on building my butt for 2 years now. Like I said the greatest challenge for me is making my waist appear smaller. I’m also trying to figure out how to build my butt without building my legs.
I don’t know what’s the best way to go about this… so any advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks. :D

The workout looks great - but I definitely don’t want a diver’s bikini butt! When we were watching the Olympics, we were commenting on how they had flat man-butts and were mostly built like adolescent guys. No thanks!

I need this workout after 4 kids…what I would give for this butt!
